Have A Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!!

Hello All;

Just a quick reminder to be safe, sane and if possible, sober this holiday weekend! Safe meaning to be careful and use common sense. Sane means do get too crazy. And sober means don't get too drunk and if you're with a group of friends, then designate one of them to stay sober so he or she can get you safely home or to your hotel. If alone, then use common sense to get a cab and get you car much later when you properly sober up.

For you guys (gay, straight or bi), keep those condoms near you at all time if you are expecting to do sex thing. For you girls (gay, straight, or bi), keep up with your contraceptives. And for both sexes, keep up with and watch your drinks! Scammers and unsavory characters are around looking for vulnerable people. Always be aware of your surroundings! If the situation looks of feels hinky, the get away!

If you are at a beach area, use sunblock to protect against skin cancer. And check with officials to see if your intended destination is thong-friendly.

As Always, Stay Sober, Stay Safe, Stay Sane and Stay Thonged!

Maine and New Hampshire Become Fifth ans Sixth States To Legalize Gay Marriage!

The Governors of Maine and New Hampshire have both signed laws legalizing gay marriage. Maine's Governor signed it into law early Wednesday afternoon. New Hampshire's Governor signed it that same evening at 7:24 pm. That brings the total number of states to six. The other four are Delaware, Vermont, Massachusetts, and recently, Iowa. Iowa is the only Mid-Western State while the other five are in the Northeast.

While this is a great victory for the gay community, the opposition is not happy. And upon word of Iowa, Maine, and New Hampshire legalizing gay marriage, they are mounting campaigns to repeal the laws. But the issue seems to no long gain any steam, and some polls have recently shown that the issue on for or against is split.

It was kind of funny, by the way, that late last night, the gay marriage episode of South Park aired on my local CBS station.

Here's a quick synopsis:

Mr. Garrison had a sex change operation and is now Ms. Garrsion. He gives the kids an assignment on parenting. He then sings about love and goes in search of his ex Mr. Slave. When he goes to Mr. Slaves' house, he discovers that Big Gay Al has moved in. And if that wasn't enough, Mr. Slave tell Garrison the he and Al are getting married after the Governor of Colorado signs the bill to allow gays to marry. Furious at the news of the impending nuptials, Ms. Garrison vows to stop the law. What does he do? You'll have to see, but it does end with Ms. Garrison as a very sore loser.

If you want to see it for yourself, go to South Park Studios and watch it online of buy the DVD's.

Enjoy and Stay Thonged
