Sacha Baron Cohen, the man behind Borat and D Ali G made a spectacle of himself again! This time, as his latest comedic character Bruno. His movie of the character will be out later this year, but that didn't stop him from pulling a stunt at this years' MTV Movie Awards that was somewhat reminiscent of Howard Stern floating down the stage as Fartman at the cable award show in the late 90's.
As you can see from the pics, Cohen as Bruno is flying above the audience dressed as an angel but his guide wires suddenly malfunction. He makes a slow descent towards the crowd and it looks like at first, he going to land on his head. But he instead he lands in a horizontal position with his pasty ass in the face of rapper Eminem and is bouncing up in down as Eminem's security guys try to get Bruno off of him. As soon as Bruno ass is disengaged, Eminem in a fit of rage and embarrassment gets up and leaves the studio.
They say the events of that wild night was a publicity stunt and that both Cohen and Eminem knew and rehearsed it prior to the award show. From the pictures here and the video shown all over the TV and web, it looked pretty real to me. Many speculated that Bruno (Cohen) was free ball in his costume. On close examination of the photos, he was wearing a white jock strap. So they can put to rest the subsequent story that his balls were smack in Eminem's face!
